Massage, Acupuncture, and Exercise Rehabilitation

Since 1992 Mike has successfully worked with thousands of people at Kettle Moraine Health Center. He has experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and other health related issues. His treatments improve daily function and quality of life by reducing and resolving pain, promoting faster recovery times, increasing performance, preventing injury, and providing relief from stress. Working with the KMHC team he provides therapies that enhance the body’s innate ability to heal, allowing patients to maintain or return to optimal health so they can continue to live at their best!

Mike’s massage work incorporates Swedish massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Tui Na, Myofascial Release, Active Release, and Sports Massage techniques. As an exercise rehabilitation specialist, certified through the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association, Mike evaluates a patient’s posture, flexibility and strength to develop an individual exercise program that will eliminate pain, restore normal range of motion, improve muscle tone and increase strength and endurance. Click here to learn more about exercise rehabilitation.

Mike received his massage training at Blue Sky Educational School of Professional Massage and Therapeutic Bodywork. He graduated in 1991 and upon graduating worked for two years as a therapist and a teaching assistant at the school.

In 2001, Mike received his Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine, from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine.  Established in 1979, Midwest College is one of the oldest acupuncture schools in the country.  In 1996 it became one of the first schools in the country to offer a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine.  In addition to his four years of study at Midwest College, Mike also completed an internship and advanced course of study at Guanzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in Guanzhou China.

Mike has also received certification as an Exercise Rehabilitation Specialist through the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association.
